Thursday Morning Fly By: We got ‘tendies

*Yesterday turned out to be qualifying offers day for the Flyers, as the organization tendered offers to five of their RFAs and elected to let three of them go off into the sunset. Or whatever happens to them. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Additionally, they’ve “tolled” Ivan Fedotov’s contract – which is definitely a term we all knew and understood before this happened – which means he’ll remain under the Flyers’ control for another year. Which is good news, in the event that we can get him over here. [Inquirer]

*With the season fading into the distance behind us it is full steam ahead to the draft (AND OUR DRAFT PARTY COME HANG WITH US), and we’ve made it up to 21 on the Community Board. [BSH]

*While we’re looking at guys the Flyers might take at 22, others are looking at guys they’ll take at seven. Like a defenseman. Please, do not. [Inquirer]

*Charlie, who is very smart, had a different idea when he picked at seven in The Athletic’s mock. [The Athletic]

*The NHL is, as we know, mostly a league filled with unoriginal copycats. Which means it’s time to look at what the rest of the teams can learn from Florida and the Cup-winning Golden Knights. [Sportsnet]

*If it turns out the Panthers tanked next season already, perhaps we may all learn that playing SUPER injured is maybe not the best idea for NHL players. [TSN]

*If you’re feeling annoyed that the Golden Knights are this year’s Champs, well, that’s okay. Feel your feelings. They’re valid. [BSH]

*And finally, we’ve got a brand new Flyperbole! Yay! [BSH]
