*So obviously the Flyers’ lineup is going to look much different from the lineup that ended last season. Where do you see JVR fitting in when all is said and done? [NBC Sports Philly]

*The NHL Network released another of their summertime lists yesterday and this time a Flyer actually made it on! [BSH]

*If nothing else, some Hockey Experts™ think the Flyers are poised well for the next expansion draft. [The Hockey News]

*Speaking of drafts, if you’re one of the nutty people already scouting 2020, you got a good look at some kids in the recently-finished Hlinka Cup competition. [Raw Charge]

*Roberto Luongo will be the first player to have his jersey number retired by the Florida Panthers. [TSN]

*And GM Don Waddell will remain in Carolina for the foreseeable, after some fear that he may be bolting for Minnesota. [Sportsnet]

*And finally, apparently the media in Toronto are looking to North Dakota to find out what they’ve got in Dave Hakstol. May I suggest looking at his NHL tenure? [The Athletic]
