We won’t be tricking anybody here at Broad Street Hockey this April Fools Day, as we’ve done in the past. But you probably want to trick your friends, and we have an way for you to do just that.
Below, we’ve mocked up a fake NHL.com article that proclaims the Flyers have acquired Sidney Crosby from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Nick Cousins and two first round picks. (The Penguins have a stupid front office.) It looks 100 percent real, and even features that infamous Photoshop of Crosby in a Flyers jersey from a few years back.
You’re smart and you realize this is impossible because the trade deadline already passed, but your friends probably aren’t as smart!
