Travis Konecny shined during his brief period in Flyers training camp this week, standing out in each of the two preseason games he played.
He was cut from camp on Wednesday, sent back to the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL, where the 18 year old will play out the season as the team’s second-year captain. The 67’s had the first game of their season on Thursday night, and there was Konecny, doin’ his thing…
First of many for #Flyers‘ Travis Konecny. LAK’s Middleton w/ a nice long pass as Konecny deflects it perfectly. #67s pic.twitter.com/OF2Mc3lWqt

Konecny’s second goal tonight. A one-timer on one knee. Unreal. pic.twitter.com/2ZyhWcUwez

The 67’s lost, 5-4, but Konecny potted two goals. He is sure to have many, many more this year.
