  • First, some important Flyers news. Paul Holmgren says he is “comfortable” riding Michael Leighton and Brian Boucher into the postseason. Ray Emery’s injury status is still unknown, according to the GM. [CSN]
  • On the ladies side of the Olympic tournament, USA will face off against Canada tonight at 6:30 PM ET in the gold medal game. Win, ladies. Live on MSNBC.
  • The USA will play Finland at 3 PM ET / 12:00 PM PT on Friday in the first semifinal. Canada will play Slovakia in the second quarterfinal at 9:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM PT. The winners will go head to head in the gold medal game on Sunday at 3:15 PM ET. The bronze medal game is Saturday night.
  • Russia lost, but this is a pretty cool story via the CBC. The Russian delegation held a bubble hockey tournament to dish out their few tickers to the game against Canada on Wednesday night. [CBC]
