Despite being out-shot 42-19 and losing the shot attempts battle 84-34, the dead-and-buried Philadelphia Flyers earned a hard-fought victory over a much better Boston Bruins squad.
Is it frustrating that the team is showing signs of life now that they’ve dug themselves into contention for Jack Hughes? Absolutely. But what am I gonna do, get mad at a win? I try to put it all into perspective, mostly by singing the praises of franchise savior Hart, who earned his fifth career win with a phenomenal performance, on Wednesday night’s postgame.
Oh yeah, and a little more good news: Jori Lehtera was assessed that aforementioned five-minute major, as well as a game misconduct, for boarding Ryan Donato late in the second, so there’s a chance he won’t be in the lineup for a bit. Who am I kidding? The law can’t catch up to Jorald.
