It’s that time again, folks! The playoffs, which the Flyers are not in, start tomorrow, so we’re focusing in on a place where they could make some noise. That’s right, the Draft Lottery.

Okay, yeah, it’s not as exciting as the playoffs, but we’re making do with what we have. Anyway.
The Flyers find themselves in pretty good position to have a high pick in this year’s draft. They’re most likely picking at 10, and they’re coming in with a 3.5 percent chance of picking first.

Those aren’t the best of odds, but stranger things have happened! Remember when the Flyers were supposed to pick 13th and then jump to second? Of course you do, that was fun, and that’s how we got Nolan Patrick. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.
Jump or no jump, the Flyers are looking good to have a top 10 pick and that’s pretty neat. But we’ll have wait until tonight to see how that works out.
