Every year I can recall, the Flyers Wives Carnival has been held in February or March. But that’ll change this coming season, with the 40th Flyers Wives Carnival being held on Sunday, November 6 inside Wells Fargo Center.
Early admission will be at 1:30 p.m., with general admission at 3 p.m. The Carnival ends at 6 p.m.
The Flyers will play a road game in Montreal the night prior to the Carnival, and they’ll return to the ice two nights later on November 8 at home against Detroit.
There’s no word on why the Flyers moved the Carnival up from its usual place on the calendar. A quick glance at the Flyers schedule and the Wells Fargo Center event scheule shows a few other possible dates for the Carnival: January 29, February 12 and March 5 would all have worked, barring any other details that aren’t public knowledge.
