The Philadelphia Flyers began a new week with hopes of flipping the switch and ending a four-game skid. Joel Farabee made his NHL debut and got the traditional lone skate during pregame warmups.
The Flyers got to work early as Travis Konecny continued his hot start to the season with a great shot through traffic, finishing with a terrific celebration. They kept the momentum going, scoring four goals in the second period from four different Flyers to pace the offense and take a commanding lead into the third period to defeat the Golden Knights 6-2.
Brian Elliott was strong in net en route to a victory in this one. The Flyers ended their losing streak and have momentum going into their next game against the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday night at the United Center.
