Pierre-Edouard Bellemare’s first NHL goal was a beauty

Scene: the Flyers had just killed a penalty, and Nick Schultz picked up the puck near his own goal line. The defenseman exited his own zone and somehow got through neutral completely unimpeded.

From there, Bellemare went straight to the net. All Schultz had to do was leave the puck for Sean Couturier just inside the blue line, and Coots put a perfect pass on Bellemare’s stick. Tip in goal.

Look at that French smile. Gorgeous.
