As we recall, it was a very…busy year in net for the Philadelphia Flyers to keep a net minder healthy. We broke a record for using eight, yes – 8 goalies in one season! (Phew).
This was my chance to really bask in my favorite subject in hockey: goalies. I’ll take you back through the roller coaster of the men in the crease – all eight of them.
We all can agree on two things though: Carter Hart is exactly what we all dreamed of, and each goaltender had a pretty sweet mask design.
