NASHVILLE — The NHL has descended upon Tennessee for the 2016 All-Star Weekend, and the events on the ice officially kick off Saturday night with the NHL Skills Competition.
While the All-Star Game itself has changed formats this year, the Skills Competition remains the same. It’ll be the Eastern Conference All-Stars against the Western Conference All-Stars, competing in six events:
- Bridgestone NHL Fastest Skater™
- Honda NHL Breakaway Challenge™
- DraftKings NHL Accuracy Shooting™
- Gatorade NHL Skills Challenge Relay™
- AMP Energy NHL Hardest Shot™
- Discover NHL Shootout™
Claude Giroux is the lone Flyers representative at the All-Star festivities this year. He’ll participate in three events: the accuracy shooting challenge, the skills challenge relay and the shootout.
