Without a new CBA, the NHL is going to lock out their players for the second time in eight years. The Thursday vote was unanimous.

Essentially, both sides have the players’ share of revenues declining over time, but the NHL has the players’ starting at 49 percent while the players have themselves starting at 54 percent and staying between 52 and 53 percent over the next four years.
