COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’ll be Team Toews vs. Team Foligno at the 2015 NHL All-Star Game here this weekend, but which teams will carry Flyers forwards Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek?
The league’s most dynamic scoring duo will both sit in the audience and wait to be picked by the captains, which were selected by the NHL last week.
Joining Team Foligno, led by Blue Jackets forward Nick Foligno, as assistant captains are Kings defenseman Drew Doughty and Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane. The assistant captains on Team Toews, led of course by Blackhawks forward Jonathan Toews, are Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks and Rick Nash of the New York Rangers.
All told, there are 48 players available for selection by the two teams — six rookies, who will play in Saturday’s Skills Competition but not Sunday’s All-Star Game, and 42 All-Stars.
Giroux and Voracek could be picked by different teams, but we’re obviously hoping they go to the same team — doesn’t matter which one — so that we can see them work their magic together on the national stage.

How the NHL All-Star Draft works
A puck will be flipped to determine which team is awarded the first overall selection, with captains Foligno and Toews, joined by their assistant captains, alternately drafting the 36 remaining All-Stars through 18 rounds.
Each team will be comprised of three goaltenders, six defensemen and 12 forwards. To ensure the final draft picks are not predetermined due to position requirements, each team’s three goaltenders must be picked by the end of Round 10 and each team’s six defensemen must be picked by the end of Round 15. One trade per team is allowed.
The six rookies participating in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition will be divided by the NHL into two groups of three. At the completion of the 11th Round of the 2015 NHL All-Star Fantasy DraftTM presented by DraftKings, a puck will be flipped again to determine which Captain chooses his group of Rookies.
The two teams will compete in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition (Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET) and the NHL All-Star Game (Sunday night at 5 p.m. ET).
