Monday Morning Fly By: Oh…oh hell yes.

*Folks, that was a fun game. The Flyers came home and put on a real show, giving us a good old-fashioned blowout against the Capitals. We’ll ignore the fact that Travis Sanheim watched from the press box, for now. Very good stuff from our boys Saturday. RECAP!

*Let’s take a look at what we learned from a very fun night of hockey. [BSH]

*Charlie’s got 10 Things to take away from the win that was built off of a solid start on the road. [The Athletic]

*Kate was back in the building taking the best hockey pics in the business. You’ll want to take a look. [BSH]

*Scott Laughton had his first two goal game!! That fourth line is freaking awesome. It’s so fun to watch. [Philly.com]

*Nolan Patrick was given the rookie treatment before the game, which is pretty cool. [Sons of Penn]

*Sean Couturier has named the Flyers’ top line “The Ginger Line” which is, quite frankly, adorable and it better stick. [Courier-Post]

*Up in Allentown, Mike Vecchione scored his first pro goal in a win over the Baby Pens! Nice little weekend of hockey for the Flyers organization. [Phantoms]

*We’re starting to get a sense of what this year’s Flyers team is going to be, but how about a couple of years down the road? [Philly Is Flyer]

*And finally, in what is truly a classic NHL story, the league is trying to think of ways to grow the team internationally. And international tournament, perhaps. Man, if only there were an international competition that took place periodically that was wildly popular and people really enjoyed watching all over the world. If only there was a way NHL players could play in such an event. [SB Nation]
