Monday Morning Fly By: Like a Radko Gudas punch to the face…

*Wayne Simmonds! [Flyers]

*Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is clearly a very, very good man. It’d be super nice to see him succeed on another team. [TSN]

*”Should the Flyers trade the #2 pick?” asks the bored sports journalist, mere weeks into the offseason. “NO THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT!!” shouted the world, in response. [CSN Philly]

*”Does the #2 pick make Sean Couturier expendable?” they asked, earnestly. “Please stop this madness,” begged the long-suffering fan base. [CSN Philly]

*Lots of good hockey over the weekend. Jakub Voracek is having a fantastic tournament so far over in France at the Worlds. [Sons of Penn]

*Travis Konecny is doing pretty well too. It’s amazing what the kid can do with regular minutes and solid linemates!! [BSH]

*Oh, and Radko Gudas punched Claude Giroux right in the face. Which, if you think about it, is kind of hilarious. [BSH]

*Lots of good NHL hockey happened too. The Senators took the Rangers to OT and won to take a 3-2 series lead, and the Capitals finally showed up to stay alive against the Penguins. Pens will try to close out that series at home tonight, should be a fun game. [SB Nation]

*And finally, literally no one really knows what goalie interference is, and it’s becoming a problem. [Puck Daddy]
