Monday Morning Fly By: Could everyone please stop falling?

*Not a great weekend for the hockey, hey friends? Friday night saw a win at least, in the shootout, against the Devils. Here’s what we learned. [BSH]

*And then we did it all again Saturday, this time against the Leafs, and this time it ended in a loss. Learned stuff in this one, too. [BSH]

*It’s time to acknowledge, though, that something is up with Travis Sanheim. He’s been, frankly, awful. [Inquirer]

*He can’t even skate! He’s falling down more than Scott Hartnell!! What in the world, truly. [Courier-Post]

*Good news is Alain Vingeault, unlike that other guy, seems willing to help Sanheim find his game rather than just sitting him down. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Shayne Gostisbehere has also been… less than great. And with the Flyers’ defense being as deep as it’s been in a long time, his role on the team might need some adjusting. [NBC Sports Philly]

*We got to see the debut of The Germ this week, though. That’s fun. He’s earned it. [Inquirer]

*Also fun and good is Claude Giroux being back in his spot in the power play. It’s been something Vigenault has been focused on. [Flyers]

*And finally, unfortunately, Nolan Patrick’s future remains unknown. [NBC Sports Philly]
