Jody Shelley beat up on Shawn Thornton last night. By my rough count, it was his first decisive fight win as a Philadelphia Flyer, which we know it ironic on just about every possible level.

I wonder how much of this fight was an answer for Shelley’s hit on Adam McQuaid a few weeks ago. That’s over now, and Shelley has a fight win under his belt. Hooray!
