In addition to his duties as Islanders television voice, Howie Rose calls New York Mets games on the radio over the summer. So even though he’s very clearly and obviously wrong, it’s understandable that he has a soft spot for Mr. Met, the awful mascot of the Mets. (Like, it’s a dude with a baseball for a head … super creative.)
