Important dates leading into the 2019-20 Flyers season

No, it’s not quite hockey season just yet, but that doesn’t mean that things aren’t getting closer and closer to happening. October 4th is still a long ways away, but we are inching closer to some rather important dates ahead of the Flyers’ 52nd season and the 2019-20 campaign.


The Flyers will be on national TV 20 times during the 2019-2020 season
The 2019-20 season schedule for the Flyers has been released



Rookie Camp:

  • Begins September 7th with on-ice work commencing on September 8th/

Rookie Game:

  • September 11th vs. Islanders at PPL Center in Allentown/

Training Camp:

  • Begins September 13th with on-ice training starting on September 14th/

Preseason Schedule:

  • September 11th – 7:05 pm, Rookie Game vs. New York Islanders (PPL Center)
  • September 16th – 7pm, New York Islanders
  • September 17th – 7pm, @ New York Islanders (Barclays Center)
  • September 19th – 7pm, Boston Bruins
  • September 21st – 7pm, New York Rangers
  • September 23rd – 7pm, @ Boston Bruins
  • September 26th – 7pm, @ New York Rangers
  • September 30th – 1pm, @ HC Lausanne (Lausanne, Switzerland)/

Regular season:

  • October 4th – 2pm, Chicago Blackhawks ( NHL Global Series from Prague, Czech Republic)/
