So here we are. There are six games left in the 2013 season, the Flyers are seven points out of the playoff race and we’re officially nothing more than spoilers. But hey, wouldn’t it be nice to drag the Rangers down with us?

There’s no way for the No. 8 Rangers to fall out of playoff position tonight, even with a win by Winnipeg, the No. 9 seed, against Tampa Bay. But a Flyers regulation win would certainly help create some greater uncertainty for the Rangers, and that would be kind of fun.
Not much to complain about following last night’s 7-3 win in Montreal, as we noted last night. The Flyers will have a full complement of defensemen this evening after recalling Matt Konan and Brandon Manning from the Phantoms today after Kent Huskins‘ injury, but it’s likely only one of those guys will suit up since the Flyers have five other healthy guys.
Steve Mason will start in goal against Henrik Lundqvist. CSN locally, NBCSN nationally. Go Flyers.
Questions to Answer
1. How does Brandon Manning and/or Matt Konan perform tonight?
2. < insert Steve Mason goalie controversy question here >
3. Did the Flyers score all the goals last night in Montreal?
4. Lundqvist has played really well lately for NYR. Can the Flyers get to him? Yes, this is basically the same question as the above, but there are six games left in a meaningless season. Deal with it.
