Craig Berube’s running the first morning skate of his NHL head coaching career this morning, and he’s completely switched up the Flyers lineup.
Via a number of sources in Voorhees this morning, including Bill Meltzer and Sarah Baicker, here’s a look at the lineup:
Scott Hartnell – Claude Giroux – Wayne Simmonds
Brayden Schenn – Vincent Lecavalier – Jakub Voracek
Maxime Talbot – Sean Couturier – Matt Read
Jay Rosehill – Adam Hall – Zac RinaldoKris Newbury
And on defense:
Kimmo Timonen – Luke Schenn
Braydon Coburn – Nicklas Grossmann
Mark Streit – Andrej MeszarosErik Gustafsson, Hal Gill
It looks like Mason starting tonight. He was the first goalie off the ice.

What do you think of the new lines? Simmonds has been one guy who’s worked his ass off in the early season, but he and Vincent Lecavalier also looked very good together, so breaking them up is interesting. The results haven’t really been there despite them looking good so I guess it doesn’t particularly matter.
On defense, Erik Gustafsson remains out of the lineup, and we basically have the same defensive pairings we had a year ago except Mark Streit replaces Bruno Gervais.
