Is the preseason over yet?
The Flyers will send a light roster to the ice at Prudential Center in Newark tonight for this second-to-last preseason game of the year. According to the Daily News, Claude Giroux, Scott Hartnell, Vincent Lecavalier, Kimmo Timonen, Jakub Voracek and Mark Streit are all among those scratched tonight. Braydon Coburn had a baby this afternoon so we’ll take a wild guess and assume he’s not in the lineup either.

CSN reports that Scott Laughton will center Michael Raffl and Matt Read, so that’ll be a line to watch tonight with roster battles still in the air.
Cory Schneider will be in net for New Jersey, just as he was two nights ago vs. the Flyers in Philly. Martin Brodeur’s father, a long-time hockey photographer in Montreal, passed away today, pushing Schneider into the net. Steve Mason is in goal for the Flyers.
The game is on in the Philly and New Jersey markets via each team’s website. No word on if that stream will be available outside of those areas.
