Flyers vs. Bruins: Brayden Schenn out with undisclosed upper-body injury

Brayden Schenn will miss Wednesday night’s game against the Boston Bruins with an upper-body injury, the team announced just two hours before puck drop. He skated in Boston this morning and seemed fine.

Schenn was expected to be on a line with Scott Laughton and Wayne Simmonds. Sam Gagner was scratched for R.J. Umberger in this game, but it’s unclear if that scratch was a healthy one or whether Gagner hurt himself on the final shift of Tuesday’s game vs. Dallas.

We’d assume Gagner would go in, but if he’s hobbled a bit, it could mean VIncent Lecavalier’s season debut in the Flyers lineup. Lecavalier’s been a healthy scratch in all five games so far this season.
