Flyers sign JJ Watt, if you ignore logic

J.J. Watt is one of the best football players in the world. The man’s size and commitment to his craft are just two of the many things contributing to his success, but hey, when you’re that good…

… Why not take a break from football and try another sport? Watt is from Wisconsin, he grew up with hockey. He knows what he’s doing.

And if you squint, this… kind of really looks like the Flyers just signed him.

That is a photograph you take with your big free agent acquisition. Forget that it’s #99, if any player can bring that number out of retirement, it’s J.J. Watt.

Look, he’s even getting to know his new linemate! They’re gonna score SO MANY goals together.

Watt – Giroux – Voracek let’s go.

(This is probably where I note the Philadelphia Flyers did not actually sign Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, who is still not a professional hockey player, and instead appears to be hanging out in a friendly visit, because he is a nice and cool man. Oh well, maybe on July 1.)
