Flyers prospect Pascal Laberge concussed after taking vicious elbow to head

Flyers forward prospect Pascal Laberge was concussed and will be out of the lineup for an indefinite amount of time after an absolutely brutal elbow to his head on Saturday night during a QMJHL game.

Laberge, who plays for the Victoriaville Tigres, was selected with the 36th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft by the Flyers. His agent, prolific Twitter user Allan Walsh, reported that he did indeed suffer a concussion and that he is symptomatic.

Moncton’s Zachary Malatesta, who has a history of such hits, has been suspended indefinitely by the league.
