Flyers playoffs 2014: It’ll be Philadelphia vs. New York in Round 1

We’ll know the schedule later this evening, but we know the important part: the Flyers will play the Rangers in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Reports indicate that Game 1 will be Thursday evening at Madison Square Garden, which would likely put Game 2 on Saturday, also in New York.

The rest of the Eastern Conference playoffs are set, with home ice in the Tampa Bay vs. Montreal series the only remaining question mark on Sunday, the final day of the regular season.

Atlantic Division Playoffs
No. 1 Boston Bruins vs. No. 4/WC2 Detroit Red Wings
No. 2/3 Tampa Bay Lightning vs. No. 3/2 Montreal Canadiens
