Just a quick note worth throwing out there, in case you missed it today. Chris Pronger is still officially listed as day-to-day, and while he’s skating with the team again (finally), he still not ready to return to the lineup for Game 4 on Wednesday. Tim Panaccio reported that on Twitter.
There’s no doubt that Prongs is progressing, now shooting pucks a bit — “light wristers” — and skating with his teammates. Still, I think we can all agree at this point that it’s fine to rest him until he’s back at 100 percent. The Flyers need him later, and if they keep playing like they played in Game 3, they should be okay with out him for at least the next few games. Well, hopefully.
In other news, Andreas Nodl is still out with a minor injury. With the way Nikolay Zherdev looked last night in Game 3, that’s just fine.
