The Flyers are in Columbus tonight to face a well-rested Blue Jackets that is coming off of an 8-2 walloping at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The BJs will likely coming out with a ton of energy as they look to get back in the win column, so here’s hoping the Flyers avoid the notorious slow start. We were joined by Alison Lukan of The Athletic Columbus to preview tonight’s game. Topics include:
- If the Anthony Duclair gamble will pay off
- Is the up-in-the-air contract status of two of their most important players, Sergei Bobrovsky and Artemi Panarin, affecting the club?
- Why John Tortorella works as a coach in Columbus long-term
- An exciting Finnish defenseman in the vein of Shayne Gostisbehere who might give the Flyers fits tonight/
Puck drops at 7PM tonight on NBC Sports Philly and, as always, 97.5 on your radios. Let’s go Flyers!
