You may have noticed that we are smack in the middle of a home-and-home series with the Arizona Coyotes, the first game of which went pretty well for the Flyers, even with goalie number three in net. The Coyotes are an interesting team; lots of young talent, a coach you wouldn’t expect to be good, and goalies playing out of their minds. It’ll be fun to watch how they progress this season. We met with Alex Boxwell of Five For Howling to see how the ‘Yotes and the Flyers match up. We talk about:
- Rick Tocchet’s coaching style and the system he’s deployed since joining the organization
- The rebuilding process and if it ever really ends
- The Coyotes’ fun young talent like Clayton Keller, who is fun to watch
- What it is like to have a team that plays tight defense and uses that to generate good offense/
