You’re really going to stretch this little race all the way down to game 82, aren’t you?

I can’t say I’m surprised. Nothing is ever easy with you. Not icing the most obvious lineups, or making optimal end-of-game personnel decisions, or giving a goalie a day or two off in, say, a month.

So here we are. Get one point against the New York Rangers on Saturday, and we can at least put off the tough conversations we’re going to have to have in the offseason. And yes, we will hold it against you if you back in on Sunday. That is all.
