Bruno Gervais is the latest member of the Philadelphia Flyers to sign in Europe. He’s signed in the league formerly home to Wayne Simmonds, Germany’s 2nd Bundesliga, where he’ll play with Heilbronn.
RDS.ca broke the story, which apparently hasn’t been announced by the team just yet. The Google translation of the RDS report suggests Gervais is doing a bit more than just playing hockey in Germany, but we’re guessing it just got a little excited:
Gervais’ signing comes just a week after his friend and Flyers teammate Max Talbot signed with a club in Finland’s SM-liiga. Someday Gervais will actually play a game for the Flyers … perhaps.
