Braydon Coburn has been with the Tampa Bay Lightning for just about 10 days, but the bad injury luck he had all year with the Philadelphia Flyers has followed him south.
The Lightning defenseman was hurt on Wednesday night and will miss four-to-six weeks … which could put him out for most of the first round of the playoffs. The Lightning are definitely a contender this season in the Eastern Conference, so this is pretty brutal for them.
Palat out 2-3 weeks, Paquette out 10-14 days and Coburn out 4-6 weeks #TBLightning

Yzerman expects Coburn could be back by start of first round. Getting Carle back soon eases the blow a little. #TBLightning

Coburn missed 24 Flyers games this season with a broken foot on two different occasions, but this apparently is a totally different injury. Tough break.
