2019 NHL Draft: The Philadelphia Flyers select Mason Millman with the 103rd overall pick

In addition to first round pick Cam York, and third round pick Ronnie Attard, the Flyers selected defenseman Mason Millman with their 103rd overall pick. Millman, the 6’1” 176 pound defenseman played last season with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL and scored 25 points in 66 games, tallying three goals and 22 assists. He added on five points in 13 playoff games with two goals.

Millman becomes the first non-American draft pick for the Flyers this season, as the Canadian will look to have a breakout draft plus one season in 2019-20. The blueliner was ranked 125th among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting.
