NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Eastern Conference All-Stars absolutely crushed the Western Costnference All-Stars (and John Scott) by a score of 29-12 at the 2016 NHL Skills Competition on Saturday night.
Flyers captain Claude Giroux participated in three events. He earned two points in the NHL Shootout at the end of the night, he lost his accuracy shooting contest head-to-head with Corey Perry from the Anaheim Ducks, and in the skills challenge relay he absolutely crushed his stickhandling portion of the contest.

Points were awarded for the best times in each heat. The East won three and the West won one.
Dylan Larkin won the contest with the best time, and at the end he had a chance to do a full-rink lap to beat Mike Gartner’s record of 13.386. He did, just barely at 13., and earned the East an extra point as a result.

NHL Breakaway Challenge: P.K. Subban wins.
Running Score: East 6, West 1
P.K. Subban was the winner with 31 percent of the vote, giving the East the win. There were three shooters from each team. Only one point is available, and the audience voted on their favorite with a hash tag on Twitter.
Brent Burns brought out his kid. P.K. Subban showed off his hands and then imitated Jaromir Jagr. Best.

Accuracy Shooting: John Tavares wins overall best time.
Running Score: East 9, West 3.
Four pairs of players went head-to-head, with a point awarded for each head-to-head contest. The fastest overall time earned a bonus point. Claude Giroux lost to Corey Perry by about four seconds.

18 shooters from each team went in on a shootout, with each goal counting as one point. Broken up into three rounds of six shooters each, with each round lasting two minutes. The first and third shooters in each round were worth two points each. Regular NHL shootout rules applied. Every player participated.
