2014 NHL draft tickets available to general public Friday

There aren’t many of them to go around, but the Philadelphia Flyers will release the remaining tickets for the 2014 NHL Draft to the general public on Friday, May 30 at 1 p.m. ET. The tickets are free.

They are first-come, first-served and there are definitely a limited number available, so you’ll want to refresh the NHL Draft page on the Flyers website, where the tickets will be made available, frequently on Friday if you’re trying to nail down a shot at going to the Draft.

The 2014 NHL Draft begins with Round 1 on Friday, June 27 at 7 p.m. ET inside Wells Fargo Center. Rounds 2 through 7 will be held the following day, beginning at 10 a.m. ET.

2014 is the first time the Flyers have been selected to host the NHL Draft. It’s the third straight year the Draft has been held in the division, with Pittsburgh hosting in 2012 and New Jersey hosting last year. The 2015 NHL Draft will be in South Florida at BB&T Center, home of the Panthers.

The Flyers have the 17th overall selection in the first round.
