Yesterday, Anthony SanFilippo of the Delco Times caught up with Scott Hartnell of the Philadelphia Flyers for our weekly Ask A Flyer segment. It was great and everything — the questions asked by BSH readers and the answers given by Scott were some of the best we’ve seen in the short history of the segment.
We tend to submit about five or six questions for these short interviews, and usually we’ll make the last question a funny one. With Hartnell, it was no different. Reader LVHokejs submittted the following question on Scott’s hair.
Question: If you were to get a haircut, how many helmet sizes would you go down?
Answer: I don’t know, we’ll see maybe. I don’t know, maybe down a size or two.
He said some more but it’s kind of inaudible over the tap, but the point remains the same. The next day, the hair disappeared.
Did our question force Hartnell to finally cut his long, luscious locks? Did it at least put the thought in his mind? Are we to blame here for this follicle tragedy that has approached our shores?
