The Flyers quietly announced the roster and schedule for next week’s rookie camp, the annual kick off to training camp, on Monday night, and with all the news on Tuesday, our story got bumped back a day. But never fear — that just means we’re a day closer to hockey. Real camp opens next Saturday, the 17th.
But the (baby) Philadelphia Flyers will be on the ice next Monday, and that’s awesome because really, this summer is getting old at this point. After the jump, we have a full look at the rookie camp roster, a full schedule of events and even a printable cheat sheet you can take with you to Voorhees next week.
Camp Schedule
- Monday, September 12: at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. On-ice team workouts. Players hit the ice at 10 a.m. Free, general admission.
- Tuesday, September 13: at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. On-ice team workouts. Players hit the ice at 9 a.m. Free, general admission.
- Wednesday, September 14: at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. On-ice team workouts. Players hit the ice at 11 a.m. Free, general admission.
- Thursday, September 15: at Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia. Rookie game vs. Washington Capitals begins shortly after 5 p.m, doors open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance. They will be emailed. Reserve them by clicking this link. Parking is also free.
