“He had a little bit of an elevated heart rate that would not go down even after rest during the intermission,” said Holmgren. “We’re getting him checked out. I’m sure it was a scary situation for Scott.”
That’s via the Flyers website this Sunday afternoon, the frightening news that Scott Hartnell could be suffering from some sort of heart problem that flared up during and after Friday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings.
Hartnell will see a cardiologist on Tuesday in Philly and, obviously, will not be in the lineup on Monday night when the Flyers host the New York Rangers. Let’s hope it’s nothing too serious.
