The Flyers announced their 2013 preseason schedule a little earlier than usual, but the schedule itself is much of what we’ve come to expect. They’ll kick off the 2013 year in London, Ont. against the Maple Leafs, will have road games in Toronto, New Jersey and Washington and will host three home games at the Wells Fargo Center.

The London game is a yearly staple now. Comcast-Spectacor owns the arena in London — Budweiser Gardens, formerly the John Labatt Centre — and always drags the Flyers up there for that reason.
The split-squad games on Monday the 16th are new, though. Can’t remember the last time the Flyers did that. Half the team will be in Toronto that night while the other half will be in Philadelphia to host the Capitals.
Dates on the calendar! Hockey! Ticket info for the home games will be released at a later date.
