4 – The number of times the Flyers have shutout the Detroit Red Wings.
The Flyers have been playing like poop lately, so it was nice to see them add to that list last night. Before that, the last time the Flyers had shutout Detroit was March 31, 2001, when Roman Cechmanek led them to a 1-0 victory.
All of the shutouts have been on home ice, which makes sense considering we’re told that the Flyers never ever win in Detroit. The Red Wings have shutout the Flyers four times as well, and last night our boys evened the score. Awesome.
Let’s just think about how great last night’s game was and not focus on what is to come…
