Listen to this bizarre song about hockey goalies, featuring Antero Niittymaki

Asheville, N.C.-based band IceHorse just released a song about hockey goalies, and it’s…strangely awesome.

The song, titled “Hockey Goaliee” (not a typo) features audio from a fight between Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins’ goalie Andy Chiodo and then-Phantoms goaltender Antero Niittymaki in the intro. That fight happened in the 2004 Calder Cup East Division Finals — if you need a refresher, video is available here.

From there, the song gets pretty crazy. Crazy awesome, if you ask me.

More IceHorse songs can be accessed here. They’re all equally as goofy and awesome as “Hockey Goaliee,” even if they aren’t exclusively focused on hockey.

Oh, and in case you’re doubting how delightfully strange these guys are, check this out.
