Hey, the Flyers have roster updates:
Michael Del Zotto participated in the optional morning skate in Ottawa on Sunday, and while he didn’t return to the line-up, he joined the team on their trip out to Western Canada and a return is likely at some point on the trip.
The Flyers are in Vancouver on Tuesday, Calgary on Thursday and Edmonton on Saturday. Expect Del Zotto back in one of those games. Also:
Hextall also stated that forward Matt Read will be flying back to Philadelphia at 1 p.m. PT to be with his expectant wife. The team is not sure when he will return.

Read’s departure from the team means that Nick Cousins, who was called up from the Phantoms on Sunday and was a healthy scratch in Ottawa last night since he had played games the two nights prior, will make his NHL debut on Tuesday night against the Canucks.
Cousins was named the AHL’s player of the week for his performance with the Phantoms last week, scoring six points in three games.
