Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier are kind of attached at the hip these days. They get thrown in together as two “underwhelming” young pieces on the Flyers roster, sports radio in Philly wants them both traded.
Of course they were acquired by the organization on the same weekend back in 2011, so it all kind of makes sense to connect them. So it’s only fitting that they were both added to Canada’s 2015 IIHF World Championship roster at the same time on Thursday.

The two join a stacked Canada roster that also include Claude Giroux. A nice feather in the cap for these guys … and also maybe some affirmation for Flyers fans that they have something special in these two kids who are only in their early 20s.
The 2015 Worlds begin May 1 in the Czech Republic.
Of course, Couturier was born in Arizona so this is all a load of shit. USA USA USA
