After a disappointing road trip, the Flyers were back home at the Wells Fargo Center trying to get back on track against the Dallas Stars.
They took the lead early on as Sean Couturier scored to get things going off a pass from Travis Konecny, but that would be all from the Orange and Black in this game. Dallas immediately responded with two goals to take a 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission.
Chris Stewart tried to spark some kind of momentum by fighting, but it wouldn’t help this time. The Flyers outshot the Stars, but couldn’t keep them from scoring, losing 4-1 in front of a disgruntled crowd.
They return to action on Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
