It’s that time of year! The Philadelphia Flyers have just three games left before the Christmas break. That’s three more games to try to get back into the win column for before they take some well-deserved time off to spend with families and friends.
And, presumably, give gifts.
To that end, Sportsnet wanted to know just the Flyers would get each other for Christmas, and the results are incredible:
Jakub Voracek steals the show in this one, immediately busting out the swearing (and Michael Del Zotto is the one with the bad mouth, apparently?), chirping Shayne Gostisbehere’s hair even while admitting his own is far from perfect (which others are all too happy to point out, too), and refusing to buy Brayden Schenn a new car.
Wayne Simmonds is pretty amazing too, though. For one thing, everyone is afraid of him, which seems appropriate. For another, he seems like an incredibly thoughtful guy! He comes up with great, memorable gift ideas for Claude Giroux and Gostisbehere. That’s pretty good for someone nobody wants to piss off.
All of the Flyers are definitely great in this, though. Somebody please get Sean Couturier some teeth.
