Flyers vs. Maple Leafs preview: TV coverage, game time and lineups

Hockey returns officially tonight as the Flyers travel up to London, Ont. for their first game of the 2013-14 preseason. It’s the annual “hey, Comcast-Spectacor owns the Flyers and also operates this rink in Canada, so let’s play there” game and let’s hope it goes off a little better than it did last time.

The Flyers will send a comfortable mix of NHL players and non-roster players to London for the game. Steve Mason, Anthony Stolarz and Cal Heeter will all presumably get a crack in net. For Stolarz, it’s a bit of a homecoming as he plays home games with the London Knights at this very arena during the OHL season.

Here’s the full roster, via the Flyers:

Goalies: Steve Mason, Anthony Stolarz, Cal Heeter

Defensemen: Mark Alt, Bruno Gervais, Hal Gill, Erik Gustafsson, Nicklas Grossmann, Oliver Lauridsen, Andrej Meszaros, Luke Schenn

Forwards: Brandon Alderson, Tyler Brown, Doug Clarkson, Adam Hall, Scott Hartnell, Ben Holmstrom, Scott Laughton, Tye McGinn, Matt Read, Zac Rinaldo, Brayden Schenn, Max Talbot, Nick Cousins, Rob Bordson, Marcel Noebels, Jay Rosehill

Meanwhile for Toronto, here’s what we’re expecting. Not many NHL guys here…

Our game thread will be up around 5 p.m. ET. Go Flyers.
