Thursday Morning Fly By: SPORTS ARE GOOD!

*Now that it’s all over, what if the Stanley Cup Final was one game? Like a hockey Superbowl? [Pension Plan Puppets]

*We’ve been talking a lot about which players the Flyers should draft in a couple of weeks, but what about the ones they absolutely should not? [The Athletic]

*There were few bright spots over the course of the last Flyers season, but there’s no arguing which light shone brightest. [BSH]

*It’s starting to look like we’ve got something in Isaac Ratcliffe. Not only is the kid a great hockey player, but apparently a great leader too. [Inquirer]

*Okay so I regret to inform, but it’s going to pretty much be all draft, all the time up until the 21st, unless some team somewhere does something. But I assume the entire NHL will be at the cottage for a bit. So! We’re profiling the kids in an order that seems likely to us, and first up are the 1-2 punch of Hughes and Kakko. [BSH]

*Speaking of the draft… it’s not just about the kids. It’s about the spicy trades too. [Flyers]

*Anyhoo. Next, Alex Turcotte. These kids are so dang good it sucks we can’t have any of them. [BSH]

*One kid the Flyers just might be able to get, though, is Peyton Krebs. And he’s pretty dang good too. [Inquirer]

*And finally… new BSH Radio! We talk about… uh… well, we talk about the draft. But we talk about trades, too! [BSH]
