Well folks, the Flyers have made it official. From the official site:
The Philadelphia Flyers announced today they have loaned defenseman Samuel Morinto their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
Morin saw zero minutes of ice time during the team’s first four games of the season, so this is a move we all saw coming. This doesn’t mean we have to like it.
Morin had one goal and one assist in three preseason games before heading to the pressbox.
The Phantoms play this Friday in Wilkes-Barre against the Baby Penguins and we’d expect to see Morin on the ice.
