Jordan Weal ended the game less than four seconds before the shootout, scoring his seventh goal of the season to give the Philadelphia Flyers an extra point over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night at PNC Arena.
The game was not Philly’s most complete effort of the season, but it did see Jake Voracek pick up his league-leading 52nd assist on a Wayne Simmonds game-tying goal late in the second period, while at the other end, Brian Elliott made 27 saves, including a perfect 23-for-23 at even-strength, in his return to the net.
Bill breaks it all down on the BSH Radio Facebook Live postgame, so kill some time before Thursday’s Super Bowl parade and check it out.
